Mindfulness Based Stress Management Eligible for Cal OES Training Allotment Reimbursement
Attention: California Agencies. The California 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Branch, part of the Governor's Office of Emergency Services, Cal OES has issued Branch Notice 2026-93, dated August 28, 2026, approving 9-1-1 County Coordinators and PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) managers to use their Annual Training Allotment (ATA) for Fiscal Year 2026–2027 toward our course, "Mindfulness-Based Stress Management."
Mindfulness-Based Stress Management is reimbursement-eligible: Agencies pay for enrollment and then claim reimbursement up to their allotment cap. The course is now an approved use of those ATA funds.
For the specifics of how reimbursement works for your agency, follow your normal ATA process and refer to Branch Notice 2026-93.
