πŸŽ™οΈ What Led to My Work In Training

Around year five of my career as a 911 Dispatcher, I was in love and fully committed to the work of being a first responder. I was also severely burned out and I desperately needed tools to cultivate balance in my life.

It was the juxtaposition of being in love with my career AND being severely burned out that led me to seek practices for well-being β€” methods I spent over a decade studying (first as a student and then as a teacher). Later, the desire to share what I learned led me to deepen my skills in curriculum development & adult learning.

Everything I share through Dispatch Wellness incorporates lived experience, the generous input of thousands of past participants, evidence-based learning principles, interactive formats (because we can all learn from each other), and, overall, a sincere commitment to compassionate service.

At the root of it all will always be my deep love of work that helps others and supporting those dedicated to the same.

Have you ever felt this way? Simultaneously in love with your career and completely depleted?
