Questions About the 21-Day Movement Challenge
Questions About The 21-Day Movement Challenge and My Answers 💛
Q: Why walking?
A: My answer is clear here: I am walking because, as of late, I’d become quite sedentary (even as a formally trained health coach & a student and teacher of movement practices).
Q: Why the 21-Day Movement Challenge?
A: I created the challenge because I know how easy it is for any of us to become sedentary. Especially in modern-day society, especially in developed countries—and even-more-so-especially for those of us who work at a desk or a console.
Q: Why not some other form of movement?
A: I chose walking because walking is simple, easy, and free. So long as I have the ability to walk (which I do not take for granted), walking goes everywhere with me. It is a form of movement with a “low barrier to entry,” and I can see myself doing this activity for the rest of my life regardless of where life takes me.
Q: What is essential to know when joining the 21-Day Movement Challenge?
A: I think something important to consider before we set out to build any habit is our why. Why are we doing what we are doing? And what does it contribute to our life? For me, a big driving force is knowing that movement contributes to better physical, emotional, and mental health, as well as helps prevent chronic illness.
